My own choice blog that I am going to write about is country thunder! Country music in my mind is the best genre of music. Most songs actually have a story behind them and pretty much anyone can relate to them, personally I can relate to a lot of different country songs. Anyways, I went to country thunder for the first time last summer and it was the best four days of my life! The line up was awesome and just spending time with all my friends during those four days was the best. It rained all four days and was so muddy and hot but the weather was still good. The mud added to the fun! On the first night, I broke my finger by playing football and ended up having to come to college with a cast on it. Then on the last night, I got strep but I still ended up going. This summer is going to be even better!! The line up is amazing with my three favorite country artists being there including, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton. And my friends and I got our own campsite this year so that's going to be even better. Country Thunder is truly the best time of my summer and something I now look forward to every year. Just being in the hot son, listening to amazing music and being with all my best friends is wonderful. I believe everyone should experience country thunder at least once to see what the best music event ever is! Country Thunder 2012 needs to hurry up and get here! Lets hope this year I don't brake my finger or get strep.
Country Thunder sounds awesome! it reminds me alot of Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. they don't have country music but still are music festivals. I can't wait for both of them this summer. I don't listen to much country but I'm definitely not against it.
ReplyDeleteWow, I would have never guessed that a country festival would be so intense! You must really love the music if you stayed through the rain, mud, heat, broken fingers, and strep throat!
ReplyDeleteBut, I know what you mean. There is nothing like a music festival. Bonnaroo, Summercamp, Lollapalooza, and Coachella are amazing festivals that you should check out if you want to branch out from country...Yonder Mountain String Band is one of my favorite bands (Bluegrass/Folk), you might like them if you are fond of Mumford and Sons or like that genre of country music.
